Commitment & Implementation: Determine scheduled time to speak with the press (telephone, video, or in-person) and develop contacts

Management & Advice (optional): Maintain ongoing management role or provide advice, as needed

Paid media program

Analysis & Discovery: Identify target audience, goals and create a paid media plan

Evaluate & Decision-making: Identify media outlets (radio, TV, print, on-line, or public spaces) and budget

Commitment & Implementation: Determine themes, topics, format, branding campaign, and create an editorial calendar

Management & Advice (optional): Maintain ongoing management role or provide advice, as needed

Organizing program

Analysis & Discovery: Identify target audience, timeframe, opponents, trends, branding tactics, management needs (staff & volunteer), and internal communications methods, and goals and create organizing and communications plans (social marketing, earned, and paid media formats)

Evaluate & Decision-making: Identify type of campaign (grassroots or grasstops) resources required and budget. Determine themes, venues, and schedule of events

Commitment & Implementation: Focus on recruitment and retention and maintain weekly benchmarks
